Frequently asked questions

Where do I download Upnext?

Head over to our download page for the mobile app and browser extensions. You can also install our iPad app on M1 Macs, and access the Web app at https://app.getupnext.com/.

Which types of content can I save to Upnext?

Almost any digital content! We extract content from blogs, articles, podcasts, newsletters, tweets and threads, videos. You can even upload PDFs and make annotations on them. If we can’t extract the content from a web link you save, it will open in a browser window instead.

The only major type we don’t support today are eBooks.

Why do I need a subscription?

We are a premium-first product. After 18 months of developing Upnext with a small group of private beta users, we are now fully committed to building features for our most demanding users. Every subscription supports our small team and makes us less reliant on external investment.

Can I request a feature?

Absolutely, you can request a feature or upvote and comment on existing requests here.

Is Upnext available for Android?

Not today, and it won’t until 2023 at the earliest. We have seen strong demand from the iOS ecosystem, and since we are a small team have to focus on fewer platforms in order to deliver a high quality product.

Can I export my data?

Yes, but you will need to contact us. We don’t have a feature for exporting and downloading your entire library yet. You can easily export a single piece of content (including annotations).

Will you sell my data?

Never. Our product is about empowering users to get the most value out of their content. Since we charge users a monthly subscription, our users will never be the product. We design our products to protect people's privacy, give them control over their information and even improve their privacy by stripping trackers & ads.

Install on Testflight

Our beta is currently only available via Testflight.
Install Testflight first, if you don't have it yet. Then use above link to install Upnext, don't use "Redeem" option.
